He achieved the degree with Antonio Mosca at the Conservatory G. Verdi of Turin. He improved his studies with Enrico Dindo, Natalia Gutman and David Geringas, so, he pursued the course of studies until the achievement, in 2009, of the Postgraduate, leaded by Enrico Bronzi at the Universitat Art Mozarteum of Salzburg. He won several prizes during international competitions and he also hold a lot of concerts. Since 2009 he collaborates as first cello with the Orchestra Arturo Toscanini of Parma. He teaches at the Accademia Musicale Amadeus of Agrate Conturbia and at the Associazione Culturale Suzuki of Asti. He’s a member of the Baroque Ensemble “Armoniosa” that works with original instruments. Since September 2014, the School of Hight Specialization of Saluzzo (CN) opened a department of Ancient Music and committed the teaching of Baroque Music to the Armoniosa Baroque Ensemble, in particular to Michele Barchi (basso continuo) Francesco Cerrato (violin) and Stefano Cerrato (cello).
